BRAISED GRASS CARP
BRAISED GRASS CARPINGREDIENTS:
1 ib grass carp {the pectoral part}
4 oz lean pork
3 mushroom
2 stalks spring onion
2 slices ginger
1 beancurd
1 clove mashed garlic
SEASONING:
2 tsp light soy
1 tsp dark soy
1/2 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup water
SAUCE:
1/2 tsp cornflour
2 tsp water dash of sesame oildash of pepper
METHOD:
1 .Wash clean and wipe dry grass carp. cut into large pieces. mix well with 1 tsp light soy and 1/2 tbsp
shaoxing wine.,in cooked oil. drain well.
2 .slice lean pork ,mushoom ,spring onion and ginger .mix pork slices with 1/2 tsp light soy and cornflour
together . cut beancurd into 8 squares.
3 .saute mashed garlic ,pork slices,mushroom and ginger with 2 tbsp oil. add grass carp. beancurd squares
and seasoning . simmer for about 10 minutes .add sauce . sprinkle with spring onion . serve hot...
