SHRIMPS WITH BEANCURD SHEET
INGREDIENTS:
1 piece beancurd sheet
1 apple
3/4 ib shrimps
5 oz choi-sum stalks few slices carrot( in flower-like pieces)
1 clove mashed garlic
SEASONING FOR SHRIMPS:
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cornflour dash of sesame oil dash of pepper
SAUCE:
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 tsp cornflour
2 tbsp water
METHOD:
1. Wipe beancurd sheet with a damp cloth. Cut into 3 "long pieces. Wash and cut choi-sum into 1" lenght.peek and dice apple . Soak in salted water before cooking.
2. Shell and remove veins of shrimps. Retain tails and slit back with knife . Marinate with seasoning for 15 minutes . Roll piece of beancurd sheet vertically around shrimps body . Coat with dry . Plain powder and deep fry until cooked. Dish up.
3. Saute mashed garlic , carrot with 2 tbsp oil . Add shrimps and diced apple. Put in sauce .mix well . Dish up and serve.
